About the artist

Nicola Ottley is an extraordinary British artist with a profound passion for animals, a sentiment that radiates through her artistic creations. Recently, she welcomed a Dutch Shepherd named ‘Kota’ into her life, an inspiration that sparked a heartfelt artwork, symbolizing the unwavering devotion these dogs offer in the right environments.

 “I transitioned from a career as a veterinary nurse to pursue my artistic talents. My newest family member, ‘Kota,’ has motivated me to utilize my art as a means to facilitate the adoption of more dogs into loving homes. There’s a pressing need for this in our present circumstances, and let’s work together to make a positive impact by finding these dogs the happy homes they deserve.

The dog featured in the artwork is ‘Astro,’ also a rescue dog, highlighting the importance of giving these animals a second chance at a better life”
